The Miracle Project®-New England

The Miracle Project®-New England (TMP®-NE) is a regional home of the California-based Miracle Project® (TMP®) founded by Elaine Hall in 2004. The mission of TMP®-NE is to provide fully inclusive theatre, film, and expressive arts programs for children, teens, and adults with autism and all abilities, which focus on the strengths and abilities of its participants and provides tools to build communication, social skills, job skills, and friendships while developing a unique neurodiverse community.

“With the compassionate and creative guidance of a wonderfully talented staff, my child has a rare opportunity to truly blossom and shine. ‘Miracle’ is no exaggeration!”

— Parent of 3-time TMP®-NE participant

Partner Organizations

Artist and Scientists as Partners (ASaP), co-founded by Julie Adams Strandberg and Rachel Balaban in 2012, advocates for treatment and research exploring diverse arts practices for neurodiverse populations, focusing on dance and music for persons with Parkinson’s disease and those on the Autism Spectrum. ASaP teaches undergraduate courses and hosts an annual symposium that explores the intersection of art, science, and community. With Dancing Legacy, ASaP presents Lecture Demonstrations that feature intergenerational casts performing Repertory Etudes. These demonstrations include people with Parkinson’s disease and other movement challenges; high school & college dancers; and professional dancers sharing the stage as one unified cast.
